Got Issues?
There’s one thing that this site and The Rookie Manager have in common:
We detest bad customer experience.
While here at Rookie we just rant and discourage customers from ever using the services of the offending companies, Mark Kaigwa and the team at Gotissuez.com take it a step further:
- They have an open forum where one can register and lodge their complaints. Their site says; ‘GotIssuez.Com is where you Rant and Rate Issues for Rewards! Sign up and speak your mind on Phoney Products, Substandard Customer Service and Brands that just don’t get it!’
- They make a point of informing the accused companies and resolving the issues that come up
- When a user rants about issues they got, they stand a chance of winning goodies such as airtime. Getting paid to complain 🙂
- A non registered twitterer can actually tag their tweets #gotissuez and these are flagged to the team for a follow up
The second point is very important and I commend Kaigwa and team for this effort. What I hope is these companies realise what an important role Gotissuez.com is playing in their businesses, and at some point come to value the customer. Gotissuez came up because the customer has no forum through which they can give feedback to their service providers.
What I’d however want to see on the Gotissuez site is how these companies are reacting to feedback. Reason being, the few times I’ve taken initiative to point out bad customer experience, it was treated very casually and nothing really changed. Our businesses don’t mind losing one customer.
